Forgotten God: The Holy Spirit (June 5-26)

Seminar Room

Could it be that we have forgotten the one who distinguishes us from every religion and cult in the world? The almighty God put his spirit in us so that we can be known for our power. Sadly, most believers and churches are known for talent or intellect rather than supernatural power. What’s worse is that we are okay with it. God did not create us and save us so that we can merely survive our time on earth. It’s time for the beloved Church of Jesus Christ to reverse the trend of neglect. Let’s pursue the spirit-filled life of effectiveness that God desires!

Men’s Group: Champions of Honor (June 5-26)

Champions of Honor Team
Room 236/237

This is a discipleship ministry to help men claim or reclaim their spiritual adventure with God. A Saturday track is also offered at the Naperville and West campuses at 7 a.m.

The Greatest Command: Love God (July 10-31)

Seminar Room

Jesus said that the greatest command of all is to love God with all of our hearts, minds, souls and strength. In our world of fast food, instant-this, microwave-that, hurry-up culture, how do we live this command? What does it look like to love God with all of ourselves? What would happen if we became a church, a people, a community that loved God with all of our hearts, minds, souls and strength? It would definitely change our lives, and it just might change the world.

Prophecy: A Closer Look (July & Aug.)

Lobby

What does God’s Word really say about the future, and why is it important to us today? In a follow-up class to Pastor Ross’ series, “The Next Seven Great Events,” this class will go deeper into unfolding and completing biblical prophecy. We will discover how to recognize the signs of Christ’s return and receive practical and positive direction for living in these last days.

Women's Perspectives: A Biblical Journey (July 10-July 31)

Room 233/234

Finding the plan of God for our lives can feel daunting at times. Through teaching and small group discussion, this class will explore God’s unique perspectives for women who are also attempting to develop a biblically sound foundation for their lives. This class is taught by Rachel Hargis from Moody Bible Institute.

Católicos o Cristianos … ¿Cuál es la Diferencia? (julio y agosto)

Pastor Alberto López & Pastor Ángel Escamilla
Capilla

¿Cuál religión salva? ¡Ninguna! Solo Cristo …

Top 20 Tips for Personal Finance (Aug. 7-28)

Seminar Room

In this positive and practical class, you will have the chance to develop your personal action plan as we talk you through the four things that you can do with money (make it, save it, spend it, give it). You will receive insight that you can use right away. We will also take questions from the audience, so come ready to talk about your questions and issues that you may be facing. We will also provide additional resources that you can use at home, including a free copy of Pastor Kregg's book, “Escape the Debt Trap” (for those wanting to get out of credit card debt). Don’t miss this opportunity to hear biblical and practical responses to help you eliminate financial problems, maximize opportunities or both!

Sandalio y Rocio Atenco, Ángel Hernandez, Horacio Palma
Salón 225/226

¡Somos Libres!

Son of Man: The Old Testament Connection to the Gospel

During his earthly ministry, Jesus most frequently referred to himself as "Son of Man." Join us as we explore the roots of that title to learn why it became Jesus' favorite self-description. A detailed study of the book of Daniel will show us what the Bible teaches about living as believers in an unbelieving society.
