Calvary’s Music Ministry encompasses many areas of worship. Our primary purpose and calling is to lead the congregation in worship each week. We minister as a team of worship leaders. This team includes the choir, rhythm section and orchestra. Our aim is to be the type of worshipers whom God is seeking—those who worship “in spirit and in truth.”

If you are interested in songwriting or have already written lyrics and/or music and would like some encouragement and constructive feedback on your work, plan to attend the Calvary's Songwriting Group! We have regular meetings (approximately monthly) so that we can get together to share new music with each other and learn more about the songwriting process. You are invited to bring your instrument, recordings, sheet music or whatever you have written or produced to share with the group. Pastor Tim Loar will share some songwriting principles and lead the group in some songwriting exercises.
