Our programs are uniquely geared toward the interests and attention spans of our junior high students. Through our ministry, junior highers get to experience and explore God’s love for them in interactive and enjoyable activities. We are committed to making the church experience a good one!
At NXT JHI, our aim is to help students connect with other students, with an adult leader and with God. We’re here to invite you to take steps towards spiritual growth. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, we want to help you know God better.
Check it out! Throughout the year, we have many fun events that are specifically designed for junior highers. NXT JHI meets for Grade Groups on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and also on Sundays at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Grade Groups
Wednesdays, 7 p.m.
Jr. High Room 550
Grade Groups are a great place for students to ask questions, discuss their faith and make friends. These gender-specific small groups connect each student with a caring adult leader.
If you are a junior higher wanting to become involved in Grade Groups, this is what we ask you to commit to:
NXT JHI Rush Week
- Tuesday, Jun. 25, 9:00 am
Rush Week is for all students entering 6th grade! This three-day camp will help students grow in God and make new friends and meet the team of JHI! Rush Week will consist of biblical teaching, worship, team competitions, small group activities, personal devotions and off-campus activites (Phillips Waterpark, Brunswick Zone, FMSC & Blackwell Park)! Don't miss out!
Early registration ($90) by June 2. Regular registration ($100) is due by June 23 (last day to register).
Daily Schedule: (drop off & pick up at Calvary Church)
Tues, Thurs: 9:00am - 6:00pm
Wed: 9:00am - 8:30pm
Off-campus Schedule: Tues - Phillips Waterpark; Wed - FMSC & Brunswick Zone; Thurs - Blackwell Park
NXT JHI Missions Trip

We are excited to announce that our 2013 missions trip is in Chicago! We want to be a blessing to the city that's right next to us so we are spending a week in downtown Chicago helping the homeless, shelters, senior citizen centers & more! To download the information application, click here.
