Marriage Mentor Certification

  • Saturday, Mar. 17, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

The Couples Ministry at Calvary wants to create a powerful network of marriage mentors! The Marriage Mentor Academy, offered online by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, is a simple and fun way for couples to learn how to help other couples. It’s the process of having a seasoned and experienced (notice we didn't say “perfect”) couple come alongside a less experienced couple to help show them the way.

Want to know if you are Marriage Mentor material? Ask yourself:

  • Are you relatively happy in your marriage?
  • Do you both share a motivation to become trained as Marriage Mentors?
  • Are you able to laugh and learn from your mistakes?
  • Are you invested in growing your own marriage?
  • Are you committed to your spouse?
  • Are you willing to share some of your time to help another couple?

If you answered “yes” to these questions, you’re on the right path! In this class you'll learn the 12 skills it takes to be effective and certified marriage mentors!

Saturday, Mar. 17
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Room 141
$50/married couple
(includes course and lunch)

Pre-registeration required, and hurry: Only 20 (couples) spots are available!

The course is divided into eight 25-minute video sessions with a quiz at the end to complete the certification. At the end of training, you will be a certified Marriage Mentor.
