Meet the Pastor

Marty Sloan

I am passionate about communicating the word of God and helping people of all ages and cultures to know God, find freedom, discover purpose and make a difference in this world. My desire is to know Christ and make Him known to others.

I joined the Calvary Church family in January of 2020, and together we are creating an earthly picture of heaven. Everything we do is driven by the Word of God to love people and to invite them into authentic community with God and others. We believe that life and ethnicity are divine, and the power of loving people can make an eternal impact.

I have been an ordained minister since 2000 and have served in ministry for over 25 years, including various staff roles, and as lead pastor since 2009. I love reading, weightlifting, traveling, hunting and football. My wife, Becky, and I have been married since 1994 and have two sons: Chandler and Landon.
