For with God nothing will be impossible. Luke 1:37
The best results in cooking are when you follow the instructions and use the proper measuring tool. Nothing is more frustrating than getting to the end of a delicious brownie mix and realizing you've misreading the directions. Mistaking teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of salt creates a dramatic shift in the enjoyment of the dessert. Using the correct measurement tool is imperative to getting the desired outcome. The same is true in life.
Smith Wigglesworth said, "There is nothing impossible with God. All the impossibility is with us when we measure God by the limitations of our unbelief." Maybe it is time to take out the word impossible from our vocabulary. With this word still at our disposal, there are times when we can let our own unbelief come in direct conflict with the truth that with God, nothing is impossible.
Are you comfortable believing God when it comes to the seemingly impossible? If not, you have limited the scope of your vision with unbelief and doubt. God is a good father and cares about the small things and great things alike. There is no matter too small that God will ignore, and there is no sickness, disease or circumstance too big for God to handle. It might be time to take a look at the measuring tool used to view God's ability and see if the right tool is being used. Impossible things can be done, because with God, nothing is impossible.
