Calvary's Outreach and Evangelism Ministry is committed to extending care to people in the Chicagoland area who are in need. Through our many outreach programs, we strive to put God’s passion into action.

This work of compassion is rooted in Jesus' strong desire to see individuals and entire communities made whole. The very heartbeat of Jesus is to serve our local community by reaching out to those who are hurting, alone, in need, struggling or oppressed.

The needs of hurting people in our own neighborhoods are vast and varied. By partnering with skilled ministries, agencies and organizations that are on the front lines of battling poverty, Calvary’s efforts and financial support have a multiplied impact upon those in need.

Mobile Food Pantry

Our mobile food pantry allows us to provide food for those in need and take it directly to their neighborhood! In partnership with Fox Valley Park District and the Northern Illinois Food Bank, we provide free food to all who are in need. No proof of address is necessary!

Can you help?
We need 15-20 volunteers to help make each mobile food pantry event a success! Contact Calvary Outreach to find out how you can volunteer for this great opportunity to bless others in our community.

If you feel called to this ministry, contact the Outreach Ministry via email or 630-585-3232.

Orphan Care

Calvary Church is organizing a network of people who have a heart for children without families. We would like to provide guidance and support as you walk down this incredibly rewarding path. Our hope is that you begin to see the face of Christ in each of these children.

You can become involved in many different ways—from cooking meals for families to opening your home to a child. Regardless of how you choose to serve, we want to help you do it well. We believe that no one should be in this alone.

Calvary Church Correctional Ministry

Incarcerated men, women and teens in our area need to experience the love of Christ in their lives. They also need assistance when re-entering society. CCCM is focused on rebuilding the lives of those who are incarcerated and those transitioning back into society. We base our ministry on practical Gospel teaching, worship and prayer. We offer opportunities to minister to those incarcerated and provide support services outside correctional facilities. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life to help us in fulfilling this God-given mission.

We travel to and offer hope and healing to those in the correctional facilities of:

  • Illinois Youth Center of St. Charles
  • Illinois Youth Center of Warrenville
  • Cook County Jail
  • Fox Valley Adult Transition Center
  • Joliet Treatment Center
  • Sheridan Correctional Center
