Calvary Church is honored to host this year’s District Council for the Illinois Assemblies of God. On May 15–18, ministers and delegates from 300 Illinois churches will gather for business, instruction and encouragement.

We invite the entire Calvary Church family to attend these evening services:

Service with John Bevere
Monday, May 16
7 p.m. in the Sanctuary
John Bevere is an international speaker and best-selling author. He and his wife, Lisa, have published more than 20 books, including "The Bait of Satan," "Drawing Near" and "Driven by Eternity." Calvary’s choir and orchestra will lead worship, and childcare will be provided.

Ordination Service with "Choco" de Jesús
Tuesday, May 17
7 p.m. in the Sanctuary
This service will honor newly credentialed ministers and those advancing in their credential stratus with the Illinois Assemblies of God. The highest recognition of ministry is "ordained," which represents recognition of proven and mature ministry. This will be an evening of consecration to the call that has been divinely placed upon these people's lives. We will hear a message by Wilfredo “Choco” De Jesús. Choco is the pastor of New Life Covenant Church, a vibrant, inner-city Chicago church. Calvary's worship team will lead worship and childcare will be provided.

  • Wednesday, Jun. 15

There is no better way for High School students to spend their summer than by joining us for IDT!

What is IDT?

IDT is a six-week summer program for High School students (Incoming Freshmen - Graduating Seniors). TRACKS
Students must chose one of our eight TRACKS to participate in IDT.
Each TRACK will determine:

  • Which book of the Bible a student will spend the summer studying
  • Which RD Week a student is able to participate in
  • Which small group a student will be a part of on Sundays and Wednesdays during IDT sessions

*** All Incoming Freshmen are required to be a part of JUMP TRACK

RD WEEK

RD Week is one of the best parts of doing IDT! Each week a different TRACK will spend Wednesday Evening through Saturday Morning at the church participating in service projects, worship, TRACK time, and fun trips to Centennial Beach and Chicago! RD Week is a great opprotunity for students to meet new friends as they serve and seek the Lord.

Camp NXT Kids

  • Monday, Aug. 1

What is Camp NXT Kids?
Camp NXT Kids is a great chance for students entering kindergarten through 5th grade to come together and have a fun time learning about God and His plan for their life! This is the best chance for students to connect with their peers in a fun way that will have a lasting impact on who they are as a person! Camp NXT Kids is about being together!

Where and when is camp?
Calvary Church - 9S200 Route 59, Naperville, IL 60564
August 1-5, 2016 (Monday - Friday)
Arrive @ 8:30 am.
Pick-Up @ 3:00 pm.

How much does it cost?
Early Registration is $125, if registered by June 26, 2016.
Late Registration is $155, if registered by July 17, 2016.

Early registration is strongly suggested! We will do our best to accommodate as many kids as we possibly can for each elective. However, various electives have a definite limit to the amount of kids who can participate at a time. All electives are subject to closure during registration. Registration closes on July 17th at 11:59pm.

What if my child can only attend a couple of days, does the price change? Due to the planning and purchasing of supplies, all registration is calculated for the entire week. There is no discount for children who are unable to attend sessions during the week.

Is food provided?
Yes! Lunch is provided each day of camp. A list of each meal will be available on our website a week before camp, www.nxtkids.org. It is our policy to never allow nut related foods to be served in our programs. However, if your child is allergic to one of the meal selections for the week, they may bring their own sack lunch containing no peanuts or tree nuts. Food sharing among children is strictly prohibited.

How does it all work?
This week is specifically designed to help your child connect and build relationships with their peers while learning more about who God designed them to be. Each day the message is brought to life through dynamic drama elements that directly connect to Biblical stories that help kids realize God's plan for their life. Students also have the chance to learn more about their gifts, talents, and abilities through the elective of their choice. These electives will teach kids how to us their God given passions to glorify his name.

All elective choices are final. There is no guarantee that your child will be with their friends even if they choose the same elective! We work hard to intentionally connect all kids that come to Camp NXT Kids. So no matter who is in class with them, we promise they will make new friends and still have plenty of chances to connect with existing friends.

Electives
Each student will choose one elective for the entire week!

Design It: This exciting hands on class will give kids the  chance to learn design elements around fashion, jewelry, and merchandise while learning how to present their designs.

Explore It: No matter if it’s indoor, outdoor, or in the lab, science enthusiasts will enjoy hands on experiences that will change the way they see the world around them!

Play It: All sports fans will find this the elective to keep them moving! Students will learn how to compete and properly participate in team related sports of all types.

Perform It: Combining gymnastics and cheer while incorporating elements of stomp and production, this class is sure to bring music to life!

Create It: Draw, paint, and sculpt your expression to life! This class is a hands on art experience.

Act It: Act it out while learning how to create great videos!

Sing It: Join the choir as they build a memorable worship experience that will last a lifetime!
